The Corps

Building on a proud heritage that goes back to 1944, the soldier-technicians of the Corps of Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RCEME) provide leadership, innovation, and technical skills to maintain and repair land equipment across the full spectrum of military operations. Since its inception, the Corps has worn its distinctive badges with pride.

Corps Badges – Past and Present

Colonel Bill Svab served 35 years in the Corps including four years as its Colonel Commandant. He is believed to be the only member of the Corps to have worn all five badges.
